  The 2010 ONS population estimates are now available on the Humber Data Observatory.

  Information Update (December 2011)

  The Humber Data Observatory has now been update with the latest OCSI datapacks for December 2011. This information includes:
  
  New datasets:
  • Number of VAT and/or PAYE based enterprises by turnover size
  • Births by ethnicity of baby
  • Index of Multiple Deprivation 2010 underlying indicators
  
  Key updated datasets:
  • Mortality rates from key conditions
  • Life expectancy
  • Recorded crime
  • Affordable housing supply
  
  Regular updates of:
  • Annual Population Survey
  • Key benefits including Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment Support Allowance
  (and Incapacity Benefit), Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Housing
  Benefit, and Council Tax Benefit
  • Council tax benefit and housing benefit
  • Housing market updates – House prices and transactions
  
  Key revisions include:
  • Housing by type (denominator revision to include all household spaces –
  including those that are not occupied)
  • Pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) by their primary type of need
  (numerator revision for 2010 to include secondary school pupils and denominator
  revision to include only pupils with Special Educational Needs)

  Please note we are currently importing large volumes data into the data observatory which may mean you experience some deterioration in performance or receive temporary errors when accessing data or reports.
  
  Unfortunately it is necessary to undertake some of these uploads during the day to update the system in the fastest possible time.
